Texas ChangeMakers is a Latino-led nonprofit serving Latino families, youth, and students across Texas, with a strong focus on Houston-area communities. We create free, culturally grounded programs that support safety, education, leadership, and belonging.
We are rooted in the belief that community is not secondary to survival... it is essential to it.
Our Mission.
Texas ChangeMakers empowers the Latino community through identity, community, and leadership. We strengthen collective well-being by centering culture, shared responsibility, and dignity in everything we do. Through grassroots initiatives, we support individuals and families while building the leadership needed to uplift our communities from within.

We envision a Texas where Latino communities thrive in unity and pride. In our vision, every Latino feels seen, heard, and connected, from the youngest “Little ChangeMaker” to community elders. We work toward a future where Latino culture and community are recognized as fundamental to well-being, and where Latino voices lead positive change across generations.

Our Story.
Texas ChangeMakers, Inc. was founded in 2025 by a group of Latino college students who refused to wait for change. Frustrated by the barriers our community faces and inspired by the heritage that shapes us, we came together to create a nonprofit grounded in action, culture, and care.
Our work is deeply grassroots and community-driven. We believe meaningful change happens when neighbors support neighbors, when culture is treated as strength, and when leadership is cultivated from lived experience.

Today, Texas ChangeMakers is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit powered by a growing team of student leaders, community volunteers, and partners. We are proudly Latino-led and committed to building long-term community strength from the ground up.
